Dinner is the screen adaption of one of Tameka Jarvis-George’s poems of the same name. It was originally written after a moment of home sickness, while she studied in Toronto. Dinner is a sultry poem/movie that chronicles two young lovers on their quest to get home after a hard days work, to spend time with each other and have ‘Dinner’. It was produced by Tameka and Cinque Productions, and directed by Christopher Hodge, who managed to capture the sights, sounds and tastes of Antigua, mixed in with Tameka’s tantalizing lyrics.
