…It just didn’t feel good anymore. That is the ultimate reason for closing my personal page. It stopped feeling good a long time ago, if I’m being honest. It serves its purpose, and don’t get me wrong, Facebook is an amazing, awesome tool, but when a thing becomes too relevant in ones life, one has to re-evaluate and sometimes take a step back, or completely walk away.
If you notice that when you log on to Facebook, that your eyes roll more frequently than normal, or you suck your teeth at what you deem as fake deep posts, if people on your timeline consistently talk about how fabulous they are or how much fresher than you they are, or how many haters they have, and you have to resist the urge to put a giant
underneath one of their posts, or post one of these on your own timeline,
I don’t know if my decision is permanent, but for now, it’s a necessity. My blog page and Clothing Line Facebook page will stay active, because I still get to post things relevant to those aspects.
