‘Dinner’ is the screen adaptation of one of my poems of the same name. It was originally written after a moment of home sickness, while I studied architecture in Toronto years ago.
It is a sultry poem/movie that chronicles two young lovers on their quest to get home, after a hard days work, to spend time with each other and have ‘Dinner’. It was produced by myself and Cinque Productions, and directed by Christopher Hodge, who managed to capture the sights, sounds and tastes of Antigua, mixed in with my tantalizing lyrics. ‘Dinner’ was released in 2011 and has been screened at the Jamaica Reggae Film Festival, Caribbean Tales Film Festival in Barbados and the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival.
This film first made it’s way into a public forum, during a promotional launch through BGR Magazine… see
