Marley 2012

Bringing rastas together since 1972…lol

I actually went on an official date with my husband to see this. The kids went to my mom’s so we were free. We deliberately went on Thursday evening for the 6:15 pm showing, because we didn’t think that many people would be there and we were right. But it was fantastic. I consider myself to be a bit of a Marley buff, so I didn’t know if I would discover ‘new’ information watching this documentary, but I did. It was about 2 hours and 20 minutes long, yet strangely enough, it still felt short. His life was so complex, any section could have been dissected and become a separate documentary of its own. It also showed a lot more of his last few months on earth, than any other piece I’d seen about him.  I didn’t expect to feel teary eyed, because we all know what happened, but for whatever reason, it still affects me. I enjoyed it, but still wished that it was longer. 😀
